The Legislative Watch Group of civil society is the institutional framework for Affirmative Legislation and Policies for women and transgenders. It comprises members of citizens’ organizations working for women’s and trans genders’ issues and human rights. Aurat Foundation – Karachi Office is the Secretariat of the Legislative Watch Group. The three provincial priority advocacy areas for policy change are Protection against Harassment of women at the Workplace Act, 2010, the Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Act, 2013 and Labour Laws, Sindh Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2017 and advocating for social protection policy
