About Us

BBW is an acronym of Breaking Barriers women, which is non- Governmental, non-profitable humanitarian, and charity-based organization in Quetta city Baluchistan, Pakistan. BBW was formed in 2017 to promote and help all vulnerable groups such as women and girls, men and boys, people with disabilities, and transgender. BBW aims of providing opportunities to the all-vulnerable groups through awareness campaigns and raising voices that they can do everything and have equal rights in society. BBW focuses on the activities which are based on the most valuable parts of the society having different campaigns on inclusive education, barrier-free environment, transportation issues, accessibility of the places, and raising voice for equal rights.

Values

BBW believes that it is important to stick with institutional values to enhance the quality of interventions and achieve its vision. It has identified the following values to be practiced at during its interventions.

  • All vulnerable must be treated with respect, prestige, and dignity.
  • Freedom to choose is the basic right of all.
  • All vulnerable must be able to enjoy full mobility and accessibility to have access to the community.
  • All vulnerable must be able to enjoy the real benefits of employment.
  • Equality, safety, and security along with other members of the society are the basic right of people.
  • All vulnerable constitutional, moral, and civil rights to be equally distributed.
  • BBW believes that a society in general benefits from the contributions of people with diverse personal characteristics including but not limited to race, religion, age, geography, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, and type of disability.
